I'm getting a lot of questions about whipping and bondage laTely and I thought I should clear a few things up for you.
Although bondage and S & M are not a necessary part of your wider lifestyle, it can be a lot of fun for those who like spice things up a notch.
I'm going to answer a few of the questions I've gotten, and clear things up.
Is Whipping Kinky?
I think this is an odd question.
I mean, what does " kinky " really mean?
It really depends on who you are and what you like. I am no judge of what two grown consenting adults do in their bedroom.
If you're asking if you have to whip your lover to have a fulfilling sex life, then answer is no.
If you're asking if you are allowed to whip your lover the answer is I'm not your mistress and master, you can do whatever tickles your fancy, as long as it's consensual .
In my opinion, too many people worry too much what other people think about their sexual practices. So long as everyone consents, it's no one else's business what anyone else does.
Which Whip Do I Choose?
This is the most common question.
There are numerous bondage products on the market for your whipping pleasure, and I'm sure that can be confusing for those new to the whip.
Let me give you some advice: Try it out on your leg and then choose the one you feel most comfortable with.
If the cat O nine tails tickles your fancy, and you really want to spank your beloved's tight little tush with it, then by all means, that's the whip for you.
If you feel you need a horse of a whip, (and I do not even know what to say to that) then a long rope whip is probably your thing.
Go to a sex shop, give them all a try. Take your beloved and give him a practice swat, see if he's begging you to do it again.
Am I Doing This Right?
I sincerely do not know. I'm not watching you.
I do not expect you to be branding your whip like a lion trainer, but hey, it's your bedroom.
I received an email from a man who said his wife is whipping him nightly, leaves welts on his ass, will not let up when he begs her to stop, and now he's afraid of her.
Although this was very amusing, I also know it's terribly false.
Whipping is meant to stimulate excitation, not bring fear. There is pain, too, but the endorphins make it more of a pleasurable thing than an unpleasant one.
To make sure you're doing it right, practice flicking your wrist with the whip against your own leg a few times, then practice on your beloved. If he says he's uncomfortable, then you're doing it wrong.
The only thing that should make him uncomfortable is that he has an even more insatiable desire to cum and you will not let him until you're good and ready.
That's really the whole point, now, is not it?
