Flying Simulator Games – This One Is Awesome

Pro-flight Simulator must be the best flight simulation game I've ever played. The graphics are amazing with 3D imagery in its real-life cockpits. The outside weather conditions and landscapes are better than any other game I've come across.

In this game you can choose the weather conditions you want to fly in or choose real time weather using satellite technology for wherever you are in the world. You can also choose your own terrain or choose realistic worldwide terrain based on US Defense Mapping Agency.

This sim game is so realistic that even experienced pilots could brush up their skills with it.

And that's not all. This flight sim game will read your own computer's clock and give you real time. If you want to fly to the other side of the world, the weather and time line will go with you, so if you want to fly to Sidney, and its night over there, this flight simulation game will give you night graphics. BUT it will also give you such details as ground lighting being concentrated in urban areas, car headlights on major roadways and accurate airport approach lighting., Which all just add to the experience and the virtual reality.

Everything is as close to reality as technology lets you. There are over 150 aircraft to choose from, from jet fighters, to helicopters, to gliders, to bi-planes. Everything from terrain, aircraft reactions, to planetary alignments & movements is based on actual world data. There is a basic level with about 20 aircraft or there is a further option to upgrade to have over 150 aircraft to choose from, including helicopters, aircraft carriers, to bi-planes and gliders, to up to date military jets. There are over 20,000 airports to fly into, with realistic scenery and the software will find the current weather situation from the NOAA weather service, to add to the realism.

There are versions for Windows and Mac so it will run on almost any computer. Depending on just how realistic you want to make this, you can get plenty of add-ons, from pedals to joysticks to throttles. You can run the game on multiple monitors so you can have split screen views, or different views in different 'windows'. The software automatically works out what extras you have in the way of pedals etc so you can literally just plug and play. However, this game will also run on a keyboard for the less experienced, with the same enjoyment.
